“Thammada” is a small permaculture farm in the forest of Pak Chong, Khao Yai, Thailand. We practice ‘Thammada withi’ (The Simple Way) of friends who are ready to share their experiences, inspiration, and the fruits of all their trials and errors. At Thammada we are friends with one another and the earth, collectively cultivating simple self-reliance skills to become a little more capable so we may embrace the world a little more fully…

“Thammada withi” is about “friendship” – it’s a story about our world of learning beyond the classroom. We gather and share simple skills to create small changes within ourselves, so we can be with the people we love and enjoy nature a little bit more.
Like similar communities and learning spaces around the country, we’re ready to collaborate and create fun activities with new friends. We warmly welcome visitors, families, and new members. Come share inspiration, help embrace our little world together, and grow alongside one another.
Our vision is for good and sustainable living for the land we love – for ourselves, our network, and all of our interconnected communities around the world.

Let your beloved clothes live on at Thammada’s ACT II CLUB: a meeting point for pre-loved clothing ready to be passed on, before your favorite outfits end up moldy in a landfill. Upcycling gives you the chance to share clothes that are still in good condition!

Counting down to hope and fresh vegetables! In the second half of 2023, our nursery and vegetable plots have started operating, waiting for new members – that could be you!
Many natural products from us and our network are gradually arriving including, fresh organic vegetables and fruits, a seasonal eating calendar, fresh eggs, fertile eggs for hatching, coffee, tea, freshly baked bread, and much more.
